Unfortunately, due to the way handicap is
figured, we lost 4 out of 7 games this week, even though we bowled better
than the other team in every single game, and in the series. In case
you're wondering how there are 7 games, this league counts each of the
games bowled as 2 games, and the series total as 1 game (for a total of
7).
We bowled last season's CHAMPS (the Crazy
Daves) and CRUSHED them, without factoring in handicap. With
handicap, as mentioned above, they won the series. This was kind of
disheartening. I suspect they were sand-bagging. I suspect the entire
league, except for us, was sand-bagging. We'll see.
