WoodworkingUntil recently (late 2002) I lived in Apartments and had access to only a few small power tools. In October of 2002, I moved into a house, which gave me a lot more room to build things in, but I was still limited by the lack of proper shop tools. All that changed for the better in the past month (December, 2003), as my friend Chuck, who lives a mere 1.85 miles away (or so says mapquest) recently converted part of his basement into a very nice workshop, complete with all the trimmings. So now I don't have the "I'm limited by the available tools" excuse, when things don't come out well. It's all about skill, now. Not luck. SKEEEEL. (in-joke that probably only Amy will get. In fact, I don't even fully remember the circumstances surrounding it being said. I think we were bowling and I lucked into something, she said I got lucky, and I pulled "Not luck. SKEEEL" out of my 10-year-old brain's bag of witty retorts.) So, on the pages linked to below, you can view photos and maybe even plans of things I build.
